This year's holiday is held on September 17-19.
In 1993, in Mogilev-Podolsky, the homeland of the Honored Master of Folk Art, folklorist Maria Rudenko, the All-Ukrainian Festival of Folk Art "Ukrainian Vytynanka" was launched, which once every 3 years gathered masters of Vytynanka from different parts of Ukraine.
The holiday "Ukrainian vytynanka", which once in three years in Mogilev-Podolsky gathers vytynankars of Ukraine with each time gathered more and more masters and became known for its popularity outside of Ukraine. Given the desire of the masters of vytynanka from abroad to take part in the forum of vytynanka in Vinnytsia region, in 2011 the holiday gained the status of International.
In 2011, 2015, 2018, in addition to vytynanka artists from all over Ukraine, the participants of the International Folk Art Festival "Ukrainian vytynanka" were masters from CIS countries (Belarus, Lithuania, Romania, Moldova, Poland).
In 2021, for obvious reasons, the current holiday "Ukrainian vytynanka" is transferred to the status of All-Ukrainian, which will be attended by 23 masters of vytynanka from 12 regions of Ukraine (Vinnytsia, Khmelnytsky, Kyiv, Zaporizhia, Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk, Cherkasy, Zhytomyr, Rivne, Poltava, Mykolaiv, Ternopil)
